Adding smart, network-powered lighting does not always mean replacing an entire lighting system. The AT-LED-24V makes it possible to connect compatible 24V DC light fixtures to a PoE+ network, giving you a simpler way to bring Ethernet-powered lighting into a space. The driver converts PoE+ power into a 24V DC output for compatible lighting fixtures, while requiring only one PoE connection at the driver. With a plug-and-play approach, it can help simplify installations where traditional electrical wiring would otherwise add complexity.

One PoE+ Connection. 24V DC Lighting.

The AT-LED-24V is designed to work with PoE+ or IEEE 802.3at and delivers up to 24 watts of 24V DC power. That makes it a practical option for compatible LED fixtures that operate on 24V DC.

Instead of running a dedicated power connection to every fixture, the basic setup is straightforward:

  • Connect a PoE+ Ethernet cable to the AT-LED-24V
  • Connect the compatible 24V lighting fixture to the driver
  • Pair the wireless light switch
  • Turn the light on or off with the switch

For networked environments, a managed PoE+ switch or injector can also provide another layer of control by allowing power to the driver to be turned on or off at the network source.

Built for Flexible Lighting Installations

The AT-LED-24V is not limited to a single fixture style. PoE Texas offers kits using bulbs, LED strips, disc lights, and COB lighting, while the driver can also be used with other 24V DC fixtures where compatibility requirements are met. PoE Texas reports compatibility with approximately 80% to 90% of 24V DC light fixtures tested, although fixture compatibility should always be verified before installation.

The system also uses a wireless, battery-free light switch, giving installers more flexibility when deciding where controls should be placed. A single switch can control multiple drivers, while each AT-LED-24V can pair with up to 42 switches. The switch can be mounted using an adhesive strip or installed for a more permanent flush-mount configuration.

A Simpler Path to PoE-Powered Lighting

For IT teams, integrators, and building projects looking to bring lighting onto the same infrastructure as other network-powered devices, the AT-LED-24V offers a straightforward starting point. It combines PoE+ power delivery with 24V DC lighting, helping reduce the need for complicated control wiring while keeping the lighting installation flexible. For projects that need more advanced capabilities such as dimming, zoning, remote access, or commercial-grade automation, the AT-LED-24V can also serve as an entry point into a broader PoE lighting and building automation strategy.
