IDEAL FOR MOUNTED APPLE IPADS. Mount devices on walls, desks, office meeting rooms or anywhere that does not have an accessible outlet for a clean look and installation. Compatible with Apple devices*, the GAF-Lightning splitter works with 802.3af Power over Ethernet (sold separately) to provide 5 volts of power with up to 10 watts peak output. Use with your existing PoE switch or injector to power Apple iPad through a network data cable.

SAVE BIG ON NETWORK UPGRADES AND DEVICE INSTALLATIONS. Use Power over Ethernet to deliver power 328 feet from the PoE injector (sold separately) to the splitter, eliminating the expense and hassle of installing AC power near your powered device. 

DESIGNED FOR SIMPLICITY. Follow these steps to power your devices:

1. From your 802.3af POE switch or injector, run a Cat5, Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable to the female RJ45 on the splitter.
2. Connect the cable to the Lightning connector on your device for fast charging. (Data will be separate on the RJ45 cable. Additional Apple branded adapters necessary to achieve power + data to your iPad or see our GAF-Lightning-PD)
3. Optional - Use the Male RJ45 for pass through 10/100/1000 data to a separate device. (Use an RJ45 coupler to extend distance if necessary)
