Two PoE or Datalines on One Network Cable
As an inline device, there's no need to mount or secure the MMF-RJ45. Simply plug the two male RJ-45 connectors from one of the kit in two adjacent networking or PoE ports of your PoE midspan or switch. If you need to mount it, you could choose to use an adhesive backed or screw down cable bracket and secure the cables which will be sufficient to hold the MMF-RJ45.
The device works equally well combining two 10/100 networking signals or 10/100 PoE Mode A PoE signals. Plug in the home run cable into the female connector. NOTE: This device does not transmit Gigabit data. If you'd like to send more than one Gigabit data signal over one network cable, check out our GPOES-EX2005.
Then at the device end plug the home run cable into the female port of the second MMF-RJ45 connector and plug the male RJ45 connectors into two separate devices.
You can use the color coding of the male RJ-45 to determine which ports your device is plugged into. The Blue Male will connect to the other Blue Male and the Black Male will connect to the other Black Male RJ45.
